Rebalance Desk

How planned rebalance actions live beside your self-custody watchlist — and when to bring them to a human sitting.

What the Rebalance Desk is

The Rebalance Desk is our name for the practice of writing intended moves next to the holdings you already control. In the desktop watchlist terminal, each planned rebalance action is a short note: what you might trim or add, and under what personal condition. It is not a live order book and not a signal feed.

A typical path

  1. Populate holdings — Labels for positions under self-custody only.
  2. Draft planned actions — Empty or partial notes for moves you already believe you may take.
  3. Watch drift quietly — Return on your own evenings; no alerts designed to hurry you.
  4. Optional desk sitting — When notes pile up, book a holdings review or rebalance walkthrough.
  5. Execute yourself — You sign and move assets when your own conditions are met.

When a sitting helps

  • Your planned-action column has more than a few open items
  • Two labels describe the same coins under different names
  • A family multisig means timing depends on another signer
  • You want a written “do / wait / drop” pass before you touch a hardware wallet

When you can stay solo

Many clients only use the terminal. That is intentional. The Rebalance Desk pages and sessions exist for the moments when a second reader of your own notes is useful — not as a required subscription.
