Data controller

What we collect

• Contact details you submit (name, email, message, optional preferred date and session interest)
• Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited when essential for security
• Optional analytics cookies only if you accept cookies (see our cookies page)

We do not ask for seed phrases, private keys, or full wallet recovery data. Please do not send them.

Why we process data

• Respond to inquiries and schedule Holdings Desk sessions
• Deliver session notes you requested
• Maintain site security and diagnose faults
• Understand aggregate traffic patterns when analytics are accepted

Legal bases under Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance include fulfilling your requests, legitimate interests in operating a secure site, and consent where required for non-essential cookies.

Retention

Inquiry emails and form submissions are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for an active client relationship or legal claim. Session notes we send you may be retained for up to 36 months for continuity if you book again. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days.

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers who process data on our instructions (for example hosting and email delivery). We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information when required by Hong Kong law or to protect rights and safety.

International transfers

If a processor stores data outside Hong Kong, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection, including contractual safeguards where appropriate.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccuracies, and erasure where retention is no longer necessary. Contact contact@softwaredevspace.digital. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong.

Children

The site and sessions are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We will update this notice when our practices change and revise the date above.
